Our breakthrough accredited driver training course is the first of its kind in Australia. With such a disproportionate number of young drivers involved in driving related accidents, never before have has there been such a need for such a program. Precise Driver Training is proud to announce that currently it is the only driver training school in Australia that offers this course.

This nationally recognised qualification prepares learners for the road ahead. Designed to be taught in schools and covering areas such as driving a vehicle, planning the purchase of a vehicle and planning a route, this course is extremely comprehensive and focuses as much on the attitude of the learner as the skills they develop along the way.

To complete this Qualification the student must achieve the theory and practical tasks in all seven (7) units of competency. Where the student chooses not to complete all seven (7) units a statement of attainment will be issued depicting the units of competency which have been achieved.

TLIH107D Interpret Road Maps and Navigate Pre-determined Routes. Map interpretation, the use of GPS devices and route navigation. Complete Workbook via email. Theory Fee - $75.00
PDT102B Plan Purchasing of a Vehicle. Complete Workbook via email. Theory Fee - $50.00
PDT07B Carry out preventative vehicle maintenance and respond to breakdowns. Complete Workbook via email. Theory Fee - $75.00
PDT04B Practise Driving and Evaluate Responses to Adverse Conditions. Student must be competent in Steering, Braking and Motor Vehicle Manoeuvring One Day Practical Course with open book theory assessment via email. Theory and Practical Fee - $160.00 (vehicle supplied)
HLTFA301B Apply First Aid. Student can complete First Aid in another program plus our Workbook (Driving Related Content). No Charge by Precise

Please Note:

  • The number of practical driving lessons required to achieve the 30 competencies is dependent upon the ability of the student and the amount of practise the student has had. However the average lessons required per student is estimated at fifteen (15) currently at $50.00 per hour lesson. ie. Practical driving lessons average 15 x $50.00 =$750.00. Payment in advance attracts further course fee discount.

  • Students are required to undertake the learner licence and practical provisional driving tests with their state or territory licence authority. All state and territory driver licence conditions and restrictions apply.
